Crystal chandeliers over red velvet and dark wood, candlelight on every table, and a grand piano playing into the night. You don't have to be staying at the Inn; the door is open to the old city.

Music is the pulse of the room. A pianist plays each evening at the grand, and on many nights the wider musical life of the house spills in - a guest player, a song traded between friends. Intimate, unhurried, and close enough to feel the keys.

Step out of the candlelight into a lantern-lit garden. Jan D'Esopo's bronze sculptures keep watch over a turquoise pool, and a terrace above looks down over the green - a quieter table under the Old San Juan stars.

Private Evenings at The Cannon Club
Book your wedding, private dinner, cocktail party, or special event at The Cannon Club - one of Old San Juan's most atmospheric rooms. The house was made for gatherings: a rehearsal dinner or a birthday among the chandeliers, a donor evening or a small private concert around the piano, a celebration that spills out into the gardens and the sculpture pool. We can host private gatherings of up to about a hundred guests across the house, and shape the night - food, music, and candlelight - around your occasion.
