Old San Juan Nights
Where the house eats, drinks, and plays after dark.
From morning coffee at Café Galería to rooftop cocktails, live piano, and dinner under the chandeliers - the old house comes alive across Studio Hall, The Cannon Club, Nico Bar, and the rooms in between.
Morning to midnight
At The Gallery Inn, eating and drinking are woven through the day - morning coffee at Café Galería, a drink on the roof at Nico Bar, live piano and cocktails in Studio Hall, dinner at The Cannon Club, and celebrations that move through the old rooms. We also host private dinners and gatherings of up to a hundred guests across the house, where food, music, and six decades of evenings come together.

Nico Bar
The house's public rooftop bar, at the front of the building and open to everyone - hotel guests and the old city alike. Climb up for cocktails and bites with the Atlantic at your back, looking out over Norzagaray Street and the colorful roofs of La Perla, salsa and old favorites drifting from the speakers. Casual, breezy, and easy - the best place to start a San Juan night.

The Cannon Club
The Cannon Club is where the house has dinner. A candlelit room opens onto lush gardens and the sculpture pool: Caribbean-flavored cocktails, a menu worth lingering over, live piano through the evening, and a terrace upstairs for a quieter table. Open Wednesday–Sunday, 5 PM–midnight; reserve on OpenTable or by phone.

Down off the lobby
Studio Hall
Just off the lobby, Studio Hall pairs food and drinks with live music every night - a small, lamplit room where an evening can begin or end, a piano going nearby. More intimate than The Cannon Club, and easy to fall into for one song or the whole night.
By day
Mornings at Café Galería
Mornings begin at Café Galería - coffee and breakfast with street-side seating, ocean air, and the easy early rhythm of the old city.
For guests only
Above it all - the private roofdeck
If you're staying the night, there's one more place to end the evening. About forty feet above Nico Bar, a private roofdeck - for hotel guests only - opens a full 360-degree view over Old San Juan, the Atlantic, and the harbor in the distance. There's no bar and no service up here; carry your own glass from below. It isn't a dining venue - just the quiet, top-of-the-house privilege of staying in.
